Middle School booklet design
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I have fully completed the content of the Word document (attached) and would now like support with professional formatting and presentation, so it can be printed and used as a student workbook in class.
The final product needs to be engaging, visually consistent, and highly practical, allowing students to write directly into the book while still feeling polished and contemporary.
In particular, I require the following:
Document Design & Visuals
• Update and standardise formatting, layout, fonts, spacing, and headings across the entire document.
• Refresh and integrate appropriate images throughout, ensuring they are relevant, high quality, and stylistically consistent.
• Ensure the overall design feel is professional, modern, and student-friendly (engaging but not cluttered).
Structure & Navigation
• Fix and finalise the Table of Contents, ensuring all headings link correctly.
• Insert and format page numbers consistently throughout the document.
• Ensure clear visual hierarchy and consistent use of headings, subheadings, and callout boxes.
Lesson Design
• Create clear, discrete lesson sections, aligned in structure and presentation with Lessons 1 & 2 (as a reference point).
• Format lessons to clearly show:
o lesson sequence
o explanatory content
o student activities
o quizzes
o questions and response spaces
• Ensure the resource is teacher- and student-friendly, with obvious flow and instructional clarity.
Assessment & Appendices
• Professionally format the assignment appendix, including the assessment matrix, so it is clear, readable, and printable.
• Ensure consistency between assessment sections and the rest of the workbook design.
The goal is a print-ready workbook that feels cohesive, intuitive to use in class, and aligned with best practice teaching resources.
