We’re a storytelling studio building a new high-concept martial arts fantasy saga. The world features spiritual combat, ancient disciplines, and emotionally driven characters. It blends Eastern aesthetics with cinematic narrative arcs.
What We’re Hiring For
We’re seeking a talented illustrator and/or brand designer to help bring this vision to life. You’ll be working on visual development and branding for a story universe that is under NDA protection.
- Original Character concept art (4–5 age stages of the protagonist)
- Branding kits (for imprint + series)
- Website and social teaser graphics
- Optional: martial arts technique iconography
IP Protection Note
This is a confidential, early-stage IP. You’ll be asked to sign an NDA prior to beginning work. Creative guidance will be provided without disclosing protected source inspirations or names.
Design Tone
- Semi-realistic, anime-inspired
- Emotive, grounded characters (inspired by works like Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, Steins Gate)
- Eastern worldbuilding (temples, mountain villages, martial symbolism)
- A modern visual identity layered over timeless narrative roots
Deliverables May Include
- 4 character illustrations at different life stages (ages 16–40)
- Branding concepts for two connected entities (publisher + series)
- Teaser-style web/social visuals
- Optional: Avatar/spiritual form for martial arts styles
Ideal Collaborator
- Strong storytelling instincts through design
- Experience with fantasy or anime aesthetics
- Ability to work under NDA and respect early-stage development boundaries
- Flexible on direction while contributing personal flair
