Looking for talented designer for website, landing pages and YouTube thumbnails
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
I run a YouTube channel [https://www.youtube.com/@CodingtheFuture-jg1he) with nearly 3,000 subscribers. I’ve also just launched a consulting business and website (https://codingthefuture.ai/) specializing in teaching software engineers and organizations to leverage AI. I also offer tailored AI-driven solutions for organizations. I recently launched a newsletter that provides AI news, tips and opinions targeted at software and DevOps engineers who want to learn to fully utilize AI in their work.
I’m already working with some paid clients (coaching and consulting), with no advertising - leads generated solely from my YouTube channel and website.
I began this journey in early July 2024 and have done all this work myself so far, including all video editing for my YouTube videos. I have a solid foundation, but I need help in taking the business to the next level. I want to focus on content creation, teaching and consulting.
I’m looking for someone who can provide the following services in the short term.
Design thumbnails for my YouTube videos.
Redesign my newsletter template. I’ll soon also want a design for a newsletter welcome template and create future landing pages. I currently use ConvertKit, but am open to suggestions.
Update my website design. My site is a WordPress site and it’s hosted on hostinger. It’s pretty basic and I want to keep it simple. However, I know I want to add several things to it, such as client consulting package offerings, a “tools & resources” section and a client booking .
I’d prefer a single person who can do all this. But, if you feel that you’re a great fit for either just the website design updates or for just the YouTube thumbnail design plus the newsletter and landing pages, I may consider working with two separate people.
If the person is the right fit, I’m hoping to establish a long-term ongoing relationship to help me project a professional presence and capture leads for my business as it grows.
My goal is to create a new video every 10 days. My videos are typically tutorial-based and focus on building AI-augmented applications and leveraging AI throughout the software engineering process.

What You’ll be doing
- Designing thumbnails for long-form videos on the YouTube channel. Ideally, I want to create 3 videos per month.
- Designing thumbnails for Shorts on the YouTube channel. I’d like to release 1 short every week for the next few months, and you'll be key to that output. I have not yet released any shorts.
- Recommending, then implementing, changes to my website to bring this to a professional standard that communicates my vision for the company. Also, adding the new sections I previously mentioned and any WordPress plugins (e.g. to facilitate client bookings).
- Implementing basic SEO optimizations for the site. NOTE: I may eventually hire an SEO expert as well. I just need “good” right now.
- Redesigning my current newsletter template. Later, designing a welcome template, as well as other lead capture landing pages.
Requirements
- You're skilled in graphic design and have experience using graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
- You’re skilled in designing websites hosted on WordPress.
- You’ve designed landing pages and newsletters (or something very similar).
- You're able to thrive in an ambitious, fast-paced, and flexible environment with a high degree of autonomy.
- You're able to work to shared deadlines and have thumbnails ready to publish when needed, always looking to stay ahead of the game. I can be flexible on the website and newsletter timelines, but I have a schedule to keep for YouTube, so commitment to schedule is critical for thumbnails.
