Looking to design a logo for a t shirt that has an old school feel to it.

I am looking to create a design that I will put on clothing of various types. I would like the design to have an old school feel to it. I have a few examples of the style I would like it to look like but I am more than open to your creative input. I would like to design an old school lemonade stand poster/add. The name of the stand will read "Big dawg lemonade" and the advertisements phrase will say " The juice is always worth the squeeze".Big dawg is the focus of the design and I'd like to keep it pretty close to the attached Big dawg logo given. I have attached a few examples of what I'd like to see the whole design look like.
