Salon 714 Logo Revision Brief (Cleaned Up)
What is approved / keep as-is
Circle
Flowers / floral look
Overall concept and composition direction
The client basically loves the logo direction already — the issue is not the frame/florals, it’s mostly the typography treatment (especially how the 714 is working with “SALON”).

What needs to be explored (font + layout only)
1) Test “SALON 714” on one line
Put SALON + 714 in one consecutive line
Make it slightly larger so it fills more of the circle
Goal: better balance and readability inside the badge
This was specifically mentioned as something to try.

2) Test SALON beside 714 (not stacked)
Move SALON to the side / align more horizontally with 714
Try a layout where the two feel more side-by-side / in sync
The thought is that the current issue may be from stacking + weight contrast
That “stacked + bolder number” feeling seems to be what’s throwing it off.

3) Test a version that spells out 714 in letters
Try replacing the numeric 714 with a spelled-out version (letters)
Compare whether the spelled-out version looks more elegant / cohesive with the wispy font style
Keep same circle + flowers, just change type treatment/layout
This was a major alternate direction they want to compare side-by-side.

4) Keep the number version, but make the weight relationship more balanced
If using 714 numerals, don’t make them feel too much bolder than “SALON”
Try making the text/numbers feel more matched and cohesive
The phrase was essentially: make them feel more “in sync”
This is likely the most important typography fix.
Pasted text
Font style direction (very important)
They like the wispy / whiskey-style script look (from the sign reference)
They want it to feel light and elegant
But not too thin (because it needs to work for a lit sign and real-world production)
So the target is: wispy + readable + not fragile.
