Logo for a Challenging Word Game

We are in need of a logo design that embodies a physical word game. The name of it is SPEEDCROSS(TM) and the winning bid will give us two hours, creating as many sketches of a logo design as you can produce. The winning bid will be offered the next phase of the project. Our goal is to put the game inside of a wooden book-box, with the directions etched into the interior of the box. We are striving for a "ancient book" educational learning vibe. This is also in preparation of a website design and banner design project.
