Logo Refresh to Modern Aesthetics

I need a designer to refresh my current logo. I created the initial design on Canva, and I want to keep the color scheme and the icon/symbol. I am open to a project that beautifies what I have now but also offer an additional logo design. This is the only image I have which is a problem is trying to print the black background on some stationary is painful. So I’d like to be able to have files to be used on social media and stationary where I can possibly change the colors.

Key requirements:
- A modern twist on the existing design
- Suggestions for a new font style, as I'm open to options

Ideal skills:
- Proficiency in graphic design tools, particularly Canva
- Strong understanding of modern design trends
- Excellent typography skills
