Lake project - outdoor space deck desig

Need deck design for lake home . Will be modifying existing deck and adding to the space . I’d like to keep existing deck and add to it to make a statement from the lake side. Facing the rear of the home from the lake, the right side has a firepit. There is a walkway down to the lake that would need to be tied in. I am a building contractor and can execute on the design. I’m interested in expanding the deck, providing an uninterrupted view from the home ( step down so that railing isn’t visible from main level. Open to any suggestion.
