Kickstarter Horror Film Campaign
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
I’m gearing up to launch a short horror film and will be raising funds exclusively through Kickstarter. To give the campaign the best shot at hitting its goal, I need a turnkey set of promotional assets that capture the film’s eerie tone while motivating backers to pledge.
Scope of work
• Video pitch – develop the concept, write a concise script, storyboard key moments, and deliver a polished 2- to 3-minute HD video complete with royalty-free music, basic motion graphics, and subtle sound design that reflects the horror mood.
• Social media graphics – create a cohesive pack of at least eight share-ready visuals (Instagram, Facebook, X) featuring the film’s logline, artwork, and a clear call-to-action.
• Kickstarter page content – craft persuasive copy for the story, rewards, stretch goals, budget breakdown, and FAQs, formatted for quick upload to the platform.
I’m looking for someone who understands genre audiences, has navigated Kickstarter before, and can hand over layered design files and editable video sources. When you apply, include a detailed project proposal outlining your creative approach, timeline, and the tools you’ll use (Adobe Suite, DaVinci Resolve, Canva, etc.). Links to any horror or film-related crowdfunding work you’ve completed are a definite plus.
Let’s create a compelling campaign that turns curious scrollers into committed backers.
