Interdimensional Travelers Costume Design
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I'm in need of a costume designer to bring to life 4 walkabout characters. They are inter-dimensional travellers on a mission to help beings reconnect with nature, to help other civilisations from making the same mistakes they did. Important aspects of the project include:
- The four characters wear large terrarium helmets we have made. They house live soil and plants and are strapped onto the body. The costumes need to work with these helmets and compliment them, help them to look more natural and less like the helmets are wearing the performers!!
-Theme: Our characters are travelers between dimensions. They are what is left of an advanced civilisation.They are helping others protect Mother Nature. We're looking for a mix of fantasy, cosplay in the designs.
-Elements: We're keen on incorporating nature-inspired elements. They have learnt the hard way that being at one with nature is the only way- the costumes need to reflect this in an otherworldly/practical way.
-Style/Aesthetic: The costumes should encapsulate a fusion of styles - Futuristic, Bohemian, Tribal. These people have a rich and radical history.
The ideal person will have the creativity to blend these themes and elements together. It's an unusual task requiring unusual ideas. We want something which feels real, feels true. We are struggling to make sense of it all and how to bring it all together- hoping someone else will be able to realise this for us.

I am afraid we do not have much money, and are working with no budget, everything so far is more or less with our own money pulled together however we can. We want this to be more and am hoping with the right costume and finish it could be.
