Icon design for menus and toolbars of a native Windows application, in the style of visual studio.
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
We are a company that serves schools. We have developed 2 native applications in windows (Win32) developed in C ++. These apps look like microsoft visual studio. They were developed a long time ago and through the years we have kept it current, originally the menu icons and toolbars were designed in * .bmp, * .ico with 16 and 256 color palettes. However, we want to give it a new image, we do not want to change the main style, they will continue to look like micosoft visual studio, but we want to redesign all the icons of the menus and toolbars with higher quality, 2 or 3 colors per icon, but of great quality, that looks modern.
The work requires that the icons look sharp in size 16x16 pixels, 20x20 pixels and that the idea of the icon and the original bmp be preserved, so that users accustomed to these icons, when the look change is made, can find all your menus and buttons. And that the design change does not end up being a bad experience because the user does not find anything.
Approximately (it can be more) are:
50 * .ico files
147 * .bmp files
20 files * .bmp toolbar images
I attach an example of the current images.
