NO A.I. ART!!!

I’m putting together a six-page, black-and-white-and-red short comic, set aboard a British convict ship in the 1790s. Think the atmosphere of The Crow and early Hellboy, but with tall-ship rigging, cramped holds, and period uniforms. The script leans into psychological dread, eruptions of gore, and a touch of the supernatural, so the art must move smoothly between quiet tension and visceral shocks.

What I need from you
• Page-by-page visual storytelling that sells character emotion, period detail, and dynamic action.
• Finished, print-ready artwork (300 dpi TIFF or layered PSD): line art in black, a separate spot-red layer, and lettering placeholders.
• Your own thumbnails and pencils for review before moving to final inks so we can fine-tune pacing and panel flow.

Why you might be perfect:
You already draw in a modern graphic-novel style, enjoy horror imagery, and can research late-18th-century ships and clothing. An eye for dramatic lighting in black and white is essential; clever, sparing hits of red will heighten key beats.

Please include links to at least three completed comic pages that highlight horror, period settings, or black-and-white work. If we click creatively, there’s scope to expand this into a longer anthology piece—but first let’s nail these six pages and make them unforgettable.
