Graphic design for textbook diagrams

I need 2 diagrams to be produced with a professional, high quality finish that can be published in textbooks. Notes and sketches for diagrams are included in the attached powerpoint. the current format looks too basic for my liking so I would like the new diagrams to be more professional looking and include all the changes that I made.
