Graphic Designer for Print Layout
Budget: €8 – €30 EUR
We are looking for an experienced graphic designer skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to create a 30x30 cm print-ready layout using provided photos, text, and a logo. The final design should be well-structured, visually appealing, and formatted for high-quality printing.
1. Preparing Images in PHOTOSHOP
Check Image Resolution & Color Mode:
Ensure all images are at 300 DPI and in CMYK color mode for high-quality printing.
Convert any RGB images to CMYK via Image > Mode > CMYK Color in Photoshop.
Cropping & Framing:
Cut and frame images creatively to fit the layout while maintaining readability.
Apply Chromatic Reworking to at Least Two Images:
Use adjustment layers such as Hue/Saturation, Gradient Maps, or Color Balance to alter colors.
Try duotone or color overlays for a more striking effect.
Save Images Correctly:
Export images as .TIFF or .PSD to preserve quality and layers.
2. Creating the USB Logo/Object in ILLUSTRATOR
Recreate the Logo Using Basic Shapes & Pathfinder:
Use the Rectangle, Ellipse, and Pen tools to trace the given USB logo.
Apply Pathfinder (Unite, Subtract, etc.) for complex shapes.
Maintain the Original Color & Format:
Use the same black color from the provided file.
Save in .AI and .SVG formats for scalability.
Use the Logo Creatively:
Implement it as a background pattern, watermark, or standalone branding element.
3. Designing the Layout in INDESIGN
Set Up Margins and Columns:
Create at least two columns for text alignment.
Use guidelines to maintain a clean structure.
Insert Text & Apply Typography Rules:
Use Serif font for titles (e.g., Garamond, Times New Roman).
Use Sans-serif font for the body text (e.g., Helvetica, Arial).
Maintain proper line spacing and paragraph alignment.
Insert Edited Images Correctly:
Import Photoshop (.PSD or .TIFF) images without distortion.
Maintain their aspect ratios.
Typography & Styling for Emphasis:
Use bold for key points.
Apply italics for the quote box:

Export Files in Required Formats:
Save the final layout as .INDD, .IDML, and high-quality PDF (HQ).
I expect you to create a single-page layout (30x30 cm) that incorporates multiple elements—photos, text, and the logo—in a cohesive design.
You need to rework multiple images, apply chromatic adjustments to at least two of them, and use the USB logo creatively while maintaining its original shape. The layout should be well-structured, using margins and columns, with carefully formatted text.
So, it's not about creating just one image, but rather an entire page design where all these elements interact effectively.
