Through strong connections with industry, ATP delivers on its vision of shaping workforce skills for the future by
producing high quality, immersive, industry training solutions in consultation with stakeholders, learners and
training organisations. Our VET product suite includes a Learner Workbook (digital or printed version), an elearn module, and a Facilitator and Assessment Resource that includes all assessment tasks, tools and guides, and mapping documents.

In collaboration with other teams for the development of innovative and engaging learning and assessment resources, the Graphic Designer creates graphics including illustrations, digital and print workbook layouts, videos, icons, photos and publishes these as learning materials and resources to shape the visual aspects of learning content and capture the attention and engagement of the learner.

Responsibilities for the position include:
• An ability to demonstrate creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design;
• Effective collaboration with key internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy of project briefs;
• Ensure creative design options are understood and presented in a timely manner with design content prepared according to design briefs/specifications and in accordance with any relevant standards or guidelines.
• Ensure that resources are workplace relevant, VET compliant and consider current curriculum development technologies that meet the requirements of the client through learner centred content;
• An ability to be innovative with a broad range of professional designs and illustrations incorporated into creative designs;
• Design templates and arrange layouts using desktop publishing software that meet the visual style guidelines provided;
• Take a coordinated and planned approach to projects with an ability to work methodically and meet deadlines;
• Design workbooks that meet all Australian accessibility guidelines
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand;
• Maintaining the highest standards in graphic design and producing cutting edge creative content, for both print and digital, that accurately represents the expectations of the business;
• Ensure courses are designed to time and according to specifications;
• Comply with all reasonable management directions;
• Undertake additional requirements relevant to the project that may arise


Qualifications and Experience
• Cert. IV in Design (specialising in Digital Design) preferred
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of design software and technologies
• Extensive experience designing innovative graphic designs for an online learning environment
