As the Director of Graphic Design at the National Christian Foundation (NCF – www.ncfgiving.com), you’ll be an integral part of a fun, creative Marketing Team that develops strategic communications for a variety of audiences. You’ll work on digital and print materials, including websites, emails, brochures, presentations, event collateral, social media images, and much more. You’ll collaborate with offices and staff across the organization on special projects, and you’ll help train and equip our other staff and local-office teams.

Overview
• Type – This is a part- or full-time contract position (30-40 hours per week), but it could grow beyond that.
• Location – This could be a fully remote position or hybrid (1 day per week in-office) position at NCF’s Alpharetta, Georgia, headquarters. It’s open to any applicant eligible to work in the U.S., though preference will be for candidates who live in the Atlanta area.
• Experience – This position requires at least 3 years of experience with growing responsibility and a wide range of design and marketing disciplines (see next bullet).
• Specific design talents – This position needs to demonstrate a strong history and talent in web UI/UX, print layout/production (including working with external printers on final print jobs), social media, and web/digital in general.

Key activities
• Lead our graphic design efforts – Develop and maintain marketing materials (web pages, documents, images, etc.) that preserve and enhance NCF’s current brand style and language. Manage other staff or contract designers.
• Review and approve – Review design work performed by other team members, providing coaching and critiquing and also resolving issues and questions collaboratively.
• Create new things – Create original visual designs, layouts, and images that align with NCF’s brand language for a wide range of print and digital communications and projects, using software such as Figma, Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, Sketch, and Invision.
• Repurpose existing things – Use existing design templates for emails, social media posts, ads, videos, and more.
• Manage print – Develop print collateral by adapting existing materials or developing new ones from scratch, including brochures, one-page sheets, event signage, annual reports, and job descriptions (like this one ;-).
• Manage digital – Develop web UI screens, page layouts, images, popups, flows, wireframes, forms, elements (buttons, form fields, success messages, icons, etc.), and event entire sites. UI will include our public website, microsites, internal intranet, and secure login sites (such as our online Giving Fund experience).
