I’m developing a new line of girls’ fashion—easy-wear casual pieces and playful party outfits—for ages 1 through 14. I already have mood-board inspirations and a rough style direction; what I need now is a designer who understands real-world garment construction and children’s sizing, and can translate ideas into production-ready designs that factories can follow without guesswork.
The collection will be cotton-focused for breathability and comfort, so every sketch, fabric call-out, and trim suggestion should keep that fibre front-of-mind. A background in the garment industry is essential; I’m counting on your knowledge of pattern making, grading across toddler to early-teen size ranges, and an eye for details parents appreciate—reinforced seams, safe fastenings, and growth-friendly allowances.
Deliverables I’m expecting:
• Concept sketches or digital flats for each style
• Full tech packs with measurements, material specs, and colourways
• Graded size charts spanning 1–14 years
• Optional: print/embroidery placements if they enhance the design
