Full-Time Social Media Production Assistant -- 2
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Full-Time Social Media Production Assistant
Remote · Full-Time · Long-Term Growth Position
I run a professional content agency serving established business clients. I'm hiring one person for a full-time production role. This is a serious search for the right long-term fit.
This role pays $1,000-1,200 USD monthly depending on demonstrated skill level.
What You'll Do Every Day:
Video Production (70% of role)
Upload interview recordings to AI editing tools (Descript, Opus Clip)
Generate clip options and send to me for selection
Execute my edit notes precisely: trim clips, adjust pacing, fix audio
Add on-screen captions, branded elements (logo, color bars)
Export in correct formats for Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook (Reels, Stories, feed posts)
Manage file organization with clear naming conventions
AI-Powered Content Writing (20% of role)
Process interview transcripts through ChatGPT/Claude using prompts I provide
Format AI outputs into platform-ready captions, LinkedIn posts, quote graphics
Ensure brand voice consistency across multiple clients
Posting & Scheduling (10% of role)
Schedule approved content in each platform's native scheduler
Maintain content calendars for 3-5 client brands
Track what's published and flag any issues immediately
Your Weekly Output:
20-30 finished video clips across all platforms
30-40 written content pieces (captions, posts, graphics)
Organized files and updated content calendars
Zero errors in aspect ratios, captions, or brand assets
Non-Negotiable Requirements:
✅ Proven video editing experience — You must show portfolio examples (generic "I can do this" messages will be deleted)
✅ Reliable infrastructure — Fast internet, professional computer, quiet workspace, backup power if needed
✅ English proficiency — Clear written communication for daily updates and questions
✅ Accountability — You track your own hours, communicate proactively when issues arise, don't disappear
✅ Full-time commitment — This is 40 hours/week, every week. Not a side gig while you juggle other clients
You're the Right Person If You:
Have actually edited social media videos before (not just "willing to learn")
Understand that details matter: captions, aspect ratios, brand consistency, deadlines
Prefer being told exactly what to do rather than guessing
Check your messages multiple times per day during work hours
Take feedback well and implement changes without defensiveness
Can start within 2 weeks and commit for at least 6 months
Immediate Disqualifiers (Please Save Us Both Time):
❌ Generic copy-paste responses
❌ "I'm very interested kindly revert back" messages
❌ Applications with no portfolio or work samples
❌ "I can do everything" claims with no specific experience
❌ Asking for the budget before showing your work
❌ Unable to start within 2 weeks
❌ Looking for part-time or project-based work
Compensation & Structure:
$1,000/month — For candidates who need 2-3 weeks of training to get up to speed
$1,200/month — For experienced candidates who can produce quality work from week one
Paid monthly via Wise
40 hours/week, flexible schedule with 1-2 hour overlap with US Eastern time
Raises possible after 90 days based on performance
This is a long-term role with growth potential as we add clients. I'm looking for someone who wants stability, not quick cash.
The Application Process (Read Carefully):
STEP 1: Send an email with subject line: "VA Application - [Your First Name] - [Your Country]"
STEP 2: In your email, include:
One-minute Loom video introducing yourself and showing:
Your workspace setup (computer, internet speed test result)
One example of video content you've edited (screen share)
Why you want this specific role (not just "any VA job")
Portfolio links: 3-5 video clips you've edited for social media (Instagram/LinkedIn/Facebook format)
Answer this question in 2-3 sentences: "What's the difference between a technically correct video clip and one that actually performs well on social media?"
Your timezone and available start date
Include the word "BLUEPRINT" at the top of your email (this proves you read the full ad)
Applications missing any of these elements will not be reviewed.
What Happens Next:
I review applications over 5-7 days (I'm thorough, not fast)
Shortlisted candidates get a 20-minute video interview
Top 2-3 candidates complete a paid test project ($75 for ~3 hours work)
Final candidate does a 2-week paid training period ($500)
After training, transition to full ongoing role
Total timeline: 3-4 weeks from application to full-time start.
Why Work With Me:
Clear systems and SOPs (you won't be guessing what I want)
Direct communication (you report to me, not some intermediary)
Professional clients (real businesses, consistent work)
Fair payment terms (never late, never disputed)
Growth trajectory (as we add clients, your role expands)
I'm building a small, reliable team. If you're looking for a stable, professional position where your work matters, let's talk.
