Job Summary:
As a Short-Form Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating and editing high-quality video content for social media platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other similar platforms. You will work closely with the creative team to conceptualize and execute video content that engages and entertains the target audience.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the creative team to understand the video content requirements and develop a clear understanding of the target audience.
Create and edit engaging video content for social media platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, etc., while adhering to the brand's guidelines and standards.
Utilize various video editing tools to produce high-quality videos that meet the objectives of the project.
Ensure that the final output is of high quality, visually appealing, and free of any technical glitches or errors.
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and video editing techniques to produce content that is fresh, innovative, and engaging.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and communicate project progress to stakeholders.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and pitch new ideas to the creative team.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a video editor with expertise in editing videos for social media platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, etc.
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop
Excellent visual storytelling skills and a keen eye for detail.
Strong understanding of social media trends and video editing techniques.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Exceptional time-management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience with motion graphics, animation, and other related tools is a plus.
Education:
A degree or diploma in Film Production, Video Editing, or a related field is preferred. However, equivalent work experience will also be considered.
