Finish Vibrant Community Website

The framework of my site is already online; what’s missing are the dynamic sections that turn it into a true community hub. I’m after a distinctly creative and colorful feel across every new piece you build so the entire experience feels lively, friendly, and immediately welcoming.

Here’s what I still need:

• Resource Page
– A well-organised directory that groups other businesses by category.
– Each entry will simply link out to the external website (no heavy downloads needed right now).
– It should be easy for me to add, edit, or reorder links later without touching code.
Needs space for images, a short bio/story section, and optional social links.

• Calendar of Events
– Must show Workshops and classes, Community gatherings, and Webinars and online events at a glance.
– Visitors should be able to filter by category and click through for full details.

• Events Page
– A feed or grid that pulls from the same calendar data but lets me feature upcoming highlights and add richer descriptions, photos, or videos per event. have it go to links of the events on another page

• Community Spotlight Page
– A templated layout where I can showcase local personalities, success stories, or partner organisations.
– Needs space for images, a short bio/story section, and optional social links.

• Homepage Enhancements
– Hero-style sections, sliders, or call-outs that tease the best of the resources, events, and spotlights so newcomers instantly see what’s inside.
– Consistent creative-and-colorful styling that ties back to every new page you craft.

My website is on wix. Once we agree on the workflow, I’d like milestones for each page so we can review and tweak designs before moving on.
