Figma Design for Academic College Website

I'm seeking an experienced UI/UX designer to create an attractive Figma design for my college's home page, inspired by Stanford's website. The design should incorporate the following elements:

- A compelling Hero section with a call-to-action
- A News and Events section
- A Featured Programs section

You have creative freedom regarding color schemes and branding, as I want you to leverage your design skills. Please note, the current website (which will be shared in chat) may not reflect this new vision, but it will be important for you to understand the foundational elements of the existing design.
