Fantasy Board Game Art & Box -- 2
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I’m wrapping up the mechanics for a traditional tabletop game set in a high-fantasy realm and now need the visuals that will make players dive straight into the story. The assignment has two intertwined parts:
1) Character & Scene Illustrations
You’ll craft fully rendered fantasy artwork—heroes, creatures, and atmospheric locations that feel cohesive with the game’s lore. Expect a painterly look with rich lighting and dramatic color ranges. Whether you work in Photoshop, Procreate, or a similar tool, I’ll need layered files so characters and backgrounds can be repurposed across cards, rulebook spreads, and promotional assets.
2) Box Art & Branding Touchpoints
The box is the storefront hero. I’ll supply dieline specs; you’ll deliver front, spine, and rear compositions that showcase key characters and highlight game features while leaving space for text and logos. If you have thoughts on a logo lock-up or typography that complements the art, include them—brand consistency matters.
Deliverables (print-ready & editable):
• 6–8 character/scene illustrations at 300 DPI (portrait or landscape as dictated by the brief)
• Complete box art in CMYK, sized to the provided dieline, with bleed and safe zones respected
• Layered source files (.PSD or .AI) plus flattened TIFFs/PDFs for print
I’ll provide lore notes, reference sketches, and all required dimensions once we agree on style frames. Share a link to your fantasy illustration portfolio and mention any experience preparing art for offset printing so I know you can get files press-ready. Looking forward to seeing your worlds come to life!
