Project Title: AI Estimate Prep
Purpose of the AI estimate:
- The purpose of the AI estimate is to determine pricing and create drawings.
Data sources for the AI estimate:
- The available data source for the AI estimate is customer behavior data.
Project overview:
Utilizing AI, An outdoor patio company wants to allow its clients to go on their web site, complete an online form and generate a price estimate, technical drawings for internal use and a visual of a pergola.
Requirements: Project is meant for AI development; the language used should be python. Data generated from client input should be placed in a table to facilitate data trending as well as Machine learning for future projects. Additional data will be provided such as schematics of existing projects. The end goal is for the AI to eventually design more technical schematics.
Client will begin by entering address, contact information including email and phone number.
The system will locate their address on Google Earth and save overhead shot of the home which it will display and save on our site. The client will then select the placement of the pergola within the image. Similar to the ruler tool on Google, the user will see the size of the pergola they are “drawing.”
If it is drawn against the house, it will note that it’s attached and ask the user once defined, to confirm. Similarly, if it is freestanding it will ask the user to confirm it’s free standing. This image will remain as an “overhead shot” and the dimensions along with positioning (attached/freestanding) will be saved and used for material calculations further in the process.
User will begin with a form and choose Color & Design Options:
As the user enters data, the user will begin to see a front facing visual of the structure that’s being created based on their input. Eventually, we will ask the user to approve the final design or make changes.
The final output will be a webpage with an image of their pergola and a price. Which will be properly formatted, texted and emailed to the end recipient.
The price will be calculated in the background based on calculation of dimension and materials required, conditions and rules that will be provided. We have a simpler sample form which we are currently using will help explain how we would like this to be done but with more conditional formatting. Access to the calculations must be granted to a super user who can update pricing as needed.
This can be emailed to a specific email address.
Also more technical drawings showing the side, front and top view will be created along with the respective materials, & connections required to submit for engineering. See attached a sample of drawings. This will not be shared with client, but sent via email to a designated recipient.

- Proficient in AI and machine learning algorithms.
- Strong background in data analysis and customer behavior modeling.
- Experience in developing pricing strategies and creating accurate drawings.
