Enhance and Complete KR Pano Project
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I have a project that I’ve started on KR Pano that I want someone to finish off for me. It’s a 360 degree view with points of interest. I’ve already marked in the points of interest. The steps required to complete it:
1. Create a legend on the left: The legend on the left should show the list of places (as selected by the buttons at the bottom). When you click on a place in the legend, the panorama should smoothly pan over to make that centered, and act as if that hotspot has been clicked (more on this later). When opened, the lower default button should be selected and the legend should show 15 (you can randomly select these for now and I’ll edit later) random places. The places should be under their subheading (sports, shops, schools, etc). When all is selected, all the locations should be displayed but each under their subheadings. The subheadings should be collapsible.
2. When a location is clicked: I want to generate a small box with an image and some text about it. There should be a ‘show more’ at the bottom of the text that will open the box across the whole image and show more detailed information.
3. When a location is hovered over: there should be a line from that hotspot to the castle park manor hotspot (as is already done). I also want to show the distance from that point to the home point. The distance I want to show is the distance as the crow flies (currently shown for Pembroke Fencing Club) as well as the walking distance, driving distance and cycling distance. This should be something like the attached example (but a nicer design.. Just threw this together to show an example)
4. Distances for each hotspot: I will need you to fill in the dist, walk, drive, bike numbers (as done for Pembroke Fencing Club). To do this, I will need you to find the distance using google maps from ‘Richmond, 39 Castle Park Rd, Sandycove, Dublin, A96 XV72’ to that hotspot (you should be able to find it in google maps if you use the caption. Please use the measure tool for the distance (as the crow flies) and the times without traffic for driving cycling walking (or the times at 1am if you can’t disable traffic)
5. Differentiate hotspots for each category: Currently they’re all marked as the same hotspots with blue in them. But I want them to be differentiated between the ‘sports’, ‘schools’, ‘shops’, etc. I also want it to be easily visible which one is which. For example: You could put a red outline around the shops button and all the shop hotspots could have a red circle in the hotspot instead of blue.
6. Behaviour if we are not interacting with the pano: If the user isn’t clicking, I want the view to rotate slowly showing each hotspot as if it was hovered over (But without the box that opens – only the line, caption and the distances)
7. Overall design: I want you to also improve the overall design to make it simple but visually pleasing as much as you can. You don’t need to do too much with it but if you have some idea to make it nicer that would be good.
8. Optimize for mobile devices too: The current design wouldn’t work for mobile devices. I would need you to optimize so that if opened on a small screen the overlays are collapsed and can be brought up by clicking a button rather than how it is now.
9. Once you complete it, I would need to see it and I will request some changes to the design to make it appropriate for my purposes
