Company: Online comic book retailer is seeking regular specialist(s) to handle graphic designs for print and digital based project work. We specialize in Limited Edition Variant Comic Book Covers.
Job Description: Timely delivery of graphic design files for digital and print.
Responsibilities and Duties: Complete your project(s) on-time and within budget.
Qualifications and Skills
• Experience in graphic design for digital and print (Required)
• Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and accuracy (Required)
• Understand the English Written Word and have the ability to check and respond to emails within a 24-hours Monday to Friday 10a - 4p USA, Arizona time* (Required)
• Familiarity with Superhero, Science Fiction & Horror Movie Genre (Preferred)
• Strong Human Anatomy/Form Study & Design Experience (Preferred)
*Arizona does not participate in daylight savings time (UTC -7)
Standard Project Deliverables (Print Ready Files):
A. Minimal Background or Stock Image (Detailed Backgrounds are rarely needed)
B. Character Design in 3-layer variations
- Outfit, Makeup & Accessories (Always)
- Facial variations (Sometimes)
- Physical Movement (Rare)
C. Font Titles and rare conversation bubbles
D. Final Cover Print Files
- Trade Cover (includes Fonts)
- Virgin Cover (no fonts, only the artwork)
FL-2022-006 - Design Summary: Creature from the Black Lagoon Movie (1954 ) Homage (see attached document for the movie poster that will be used as the basis of design).
Job Type: Part-time to Full-time
Work Location: Remote Only, Anywhere
Pay: Consultants are paid based on fixed bid pricing (with change options). Each projects compensation is derived from our brief discussion that can be handled via email.
A. You will be briefed regarding the Character Designs to be delivered
B. Sample images or sketches will be provided to be used as the baseline character/scene reference
C. Your fixed bid for the project deliverables (DOE) based on the Freelancer Budget Identified
D. We agree upon checkpoints (sketch, ink, final) to ensure design is going in the right direction
F. We agree upon the Final Due Date/Delivery of the Print ready files
