UI/UX Designer for Placera Job Platform

About Placera:
Placera is a new-age job platform connecting college students with top employers across India, with a special focus on Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. We are redefining campus hiring through smart screening tools, intuitive workflows, and seamless employer-student experiences.

Role Overview:
We are looking for a freelance UI/UX Designer to help us craft clean, user-friendly designs for our web platform. You'll work closely with our founding team to translate business goals into simple, elegant user interfaces and intuitive user experiences.

Responsibilities:

Design wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI screens for the Placera website (student portal, employer portal, admin dashboard).

Collaborate with our product and tech teams to create user-centered designs based on research, feedback, and industry best practices.

Ensure responsive design principles are incorporated for desktop and mobile versions.

Translate complex workflows (e.g., screening process, drive creation, event registration) into easy-to-use interfaces.

Contribute ideas to improve the overall product design and user experience.

Prepare design assets and specifications for developers.

Requirements:

Proven experience designing web and/or mobile applications (please share your portfolio).

Strong skills in Figma (or similar tools like Adobe XD or Sketch).

Ability to design clean, modern, intuitive interfaces.

Understanding of UX principles like information architecture, user journeys, and usability.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment.

Good communication skills and openness to feedback.

Bonus (Nice to Have):

Experience designing dashboards, job portals, or educational platforms.

Familiarity with basic branding and visual identity systems.

Compensation:

Project-based or hourly rates (negotiable based on experience).
