Designer - Email Marketing
Budget: $8 – $15 USD

As a marketing agency, we are currently looking for a creative and experienced designer who is happy to service a number of eCommerce clients on behalf of our email marketing agency.
This is not a client-facing role - you will be communicating and working closely with the CEO who will provide you with projects and tasks on behalf of clients.
It is therefore important that you are able to follow instructions, work to deadlines and work within set processes for maximum efficiency and output while also maintaining a creative license and being able to implement your own ideas to “wow” both the client and the subscribers of the brands you will be working indirectly for.
You will be only one of two designers for the agency so there is also potential to develop and lead a team of designers, help us set up foundational processes, and work with a small, but close-knit team to maintain good vibes and help the agency grow.
This also means that we are looking to move forward rapidly with the right candidate!
You will be working on an hourly basis with the potential of moving to a fixed retainer.
Please note: There will be a small, practical test (1-2 hours) as part of the application.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 years experience as a designer
Experience with email marketing, or a desire to learn it fast
Strong communications skills
Organized
Experience with quality assurance is a plus
5-10 hours per week for availability
Extra Preferred:
Leadership skills
Mentoring and training skills
Process-driven
Create/improve the quality assurance system for designs
Designer recruitment - interviewing and testing
Cooperation and coordination with the internal team
