Post:
Character Illustrator cum Graphics Designer for children's book
Project:
Islamic children's book for a variety of age groups. Artworks to be designed will be turned into animation by other people.
Pay:
RM3,200 monthly
Duration & job mode:
6 months, contract (extendable if necessary & agreeable)
Work hours:
Flexible but available during weekdays 9am - 5pm
Location:
Hybrid - Own location, physical meeting, online & work-from-home

B. REQUIREMENTS:
Muslim
Minimum Bachelors Degree in Graphics Design and/or Multimedia
Minimum five (5) years in graphics design and two (2) years in character illustration/or related skills
Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Illustrator are must
Possesses skills and talent in both graphics design and character illustration
Available portfolio to showcase skills and talent
Permanent residence in Malaysia
Highly creative, professional, independent and possesses good communication skills
Work ethics a priority
Able to travel to meeting locations for creative brainstorming and tasks rollout briefing (usually - cafes/libraries around Damansara/TTDI)
Able to meet deadlines
Able to start in July 2022
Prior experience in designing children's book is not must but will be heavily considered

C. JOB DESCRIPTION:
Create prototypes and final graphics and illustrations for Islamic children's books from available sketches
Design and create prototypes and final graphics and illustrations conceived from brainstorming sessions and creative meeting sessions
Produce prototype and final graphics and illustrations for children's book printing purposes
Produce prototype and final graphics and illustrations for content animators' usage (Adobe Photoshop required)
Produce prototype and final graphics and illustrations for web applications purposes

D. IMPORTANT TERMS & AGREEMENTS
The selected candidate will be required to sign a Temporary Job Contract and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA)
The selected candidate will agree:
- To have their creative works related to the contract and the job transferred to a third party (content animator, web designer)
- To intellectually and professionally submit all creative ideas and works related to the contract and the job solely for the usage of our company
- That all graphics and illustrations related to the contract and the job belong solely to the company

At least five years experience in graphics design
At least two or three years experience with Photoshop
Residing permanently in Malaysia, able to work from own location and able to meet up for creative brainstorming around Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya (Malaysia)
