Design Package Insert
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
This project is for a *printed* (yes, ink on paper... remember that?) postcard that will be used as a package insert.
Printing specs
Overall size: 8.6 inches x 5.6 inches (full bleed)
Trim size: 8.5 x 5.5 inches
4 colors, 2 sides
Copy and images are provided (see attachments)
350 dpi
Color mode: CYMK
Max file size: 75 Mb
Format: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Indesign (templates attached)
Creative Direction
There are two separate pages of copy. Each side of the card corresponds to one of the pages.
Side 1 explains how to introduce new fish to a koi pond
Side 2 explains how to feed koi fish (there are a few images that relate specifically to feeding)
You can choose images from the images folder. They can be cropped or altered.
There are two logos, square and horizontal. You can use either of them. The logo should be on both sides.
The content is informative, not sales-oriented, so the layout should make the content easy to read: simple font, moderate column width, etc.
Finished product
The finished product should be a single zip file containing ONLY the files needed by the printer, organized and formatted so it is ready for the printer to use without modification.
What we're looking for
We need a designer with *print* experience. We will need to see a variety of printed designs in your portfolio. Experience keeping tropical fish or koi fish is desirable.
You must also understand how to work within the printing process and how to create files for printing.
How to get the job
1. READ THE PROJECT SPEC. Any template or boilerplate auto-bids will be rejected immediately. If you can't take the time to read all of the spec I don't trust you to do the job correctly. In fact, you can prove you read it by including the word "Kohaku" in your bid.
2. Don't message me asking that I look at your bid. I will look at all of them and yours will be immediately rejected if you do this.
3. Tell us why you're a good fit for the project.
