Design Mobile Social Media App
Budget: $50 – $100 USD
The idea is to build an app for anyone with anything to sell, like craiglist but with a social media element attached to it. Our existing competitors are Instagram/FB marketplace, however we think that with enough integration our system will overpower theirs as we're focusing persistently on the selling part.
The purpose of the app is to provide everyone with one platform. Whether you're a small business which doesnt have the budget for a website or just a regular high school student looking to make some quick money by selling to the people you trust.
The experience is to be discussed with the designer, nevertheless for now it's thought of in this way:
1. User sees a post, he has the ability to like/comment/add to cart/share
2. He adds it to his cart
3. He proceeds to checkout, actually puts in payment info
4. A request is sent to the supplier, which if he accepts automatically starts a delivery process
5. The delivery route is mapped for both the supplier and customer, the supplier may call the customer via the provided phone number at sign in.
6. After the delivery is made and both parties press "Confirm Received Delivery", the money is transferred either by cash or card.
