# Freelance Fashion Designer – Women's Ethnic Wear (Kurti/Kurta Set)

We are a women's ethnic wear manufacturing company based in Surat, India, looking for talented freelance fashion designers to help us create fresh and commercially strong collections for our upcoming exhibition.

### What We're Looking For

* Strong experience in women's ethnic wear design
* Ability to create original and trend-forward kurti, kurta set, co-ord set, and festive wear concepts
* Excellent understanding of silhouettes, necklines, sleeves, embroidery placement, prints, colour stories, and current fashion trends
* Ability to create designs that are both fashionable and commercially viable

### Responsibilities

* Design original women's ethnic wear collections
* Create detailed fashion sketches (front and back)
* Suggest fabrics, colour combinations, trims, and embroidery ideas
* Develop unique concepts inspired by current Indian and international trends
* Revise designs based on feedback when required

### Preferred Experience

* Previous work with ethnic wear brands or manufacturers
* Portfolio showcasing kurti, kurta sets, festive wear, or Indo-western collections
* Knowledge of embroidery, prints, and garment construction

Project Details

* Freelance / Project-based
* Payment on a per-design or per-project basis (negotiable based on experience)
* Long-term collaboration possible for the right designer
