Design Cover for new 25 year anniversary edition of company product book
Budget: $200 – $300 AUD
I'm looking to collaborate with a talented designer on a cover project for a new 25 year edition product book. The main focus of the design is to incorporate both image and text in a bold and graphic style whilst maintaining the brand essentials and quality feel of the brand.
Key Requirements:
Size: Catalogue is 290h x 205w and spine is 7mm thick. Book is perfect bound.
I am looking for design for outside of cover only. Please prepare renders/presentations and visual design images that we can put to the board for approval and sign off prior to completion and supply of files. 2 to 3 ideas welcome.
Final artwork please provide as Adobe Indesign file with any text graphics also provide as AI.
- Experience with photographic design: The end product will be a visually stunning cover for our 160pg book. In the past we have had a very clean simple white cover with black and silver text and company logo, we want to make the 25 year edition a bit glitzy with use of foils or effects to make it stand out whilst maintaining the core brand visuals.
Use your creative flair. This book will be in front of architects, designers, consumers and in luxury bathroom showrooms across Australia. This must stand out from the crowd and people must go wow, lets check this out :)
- Graphic Design Skills: The design needs to be bold and engaging. You should be proficient in using graphic design software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator etc.
- Text Integration:., it will also need to incorporate text seamlessly. A sound understanding of typography and how it interacts with images is key.
The ideal candidate for this job is someone who understands how to create balance between images and text, making them work together to produce a striking and compelling cover. Looking forward to seeing your proposals.

Note that you need not be alarmed if I award this project to more than one person :) I often do that to get 2 or 3 projects going together.
