Custom Signature Font Creation
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have a clean, high-resolution image of my handwritten signature and need it transformed into a professional, install-ready font. The core requirement is an OpenType (.otf) file that lets me type my signature with a single keystroke, retaining the exact look, curves, and pressure variations from the original scan.
You’re free to suggest a stylistic approach—formal, casual, or creative—so long as the final result feels authentic and scales crisply at any size. I’ll share the source image (PNG) once we begin, and I’m happy to refine direction after an initial proof.
Deliverables
• Finished .otf file, compatible with macOS and Windows
• Simple mapping—preferably the signature assigned to an easy-to-reach character
• A preview graphic confirming stroke fidelity at several sizes
• Brief notes on the tools used (Glyphs, FontForge, Illustrator, etc.) and basic install instructions
Acceptance criteria: smooth vectors with no jagged edges, correct baseline alignment, and flawless rendering in Adobe, Microsoft Office, and common browsers. A TTF or WOFF copy is welcome as a bonus but not required.
If this sounds straightforward, let’s get started.
