K-6 Curriculum Creation: NSW Aligned
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
Project: K–6 Study Guides & Program (Aligned to NSW NESA Syllabus)
I am seeking an experienced curriculum writer and designer to create a complete K–6 study program for parents and students to follow at home.
Scope of Work:
Design grade-specific study guides/systems/programs for each year (Kindergarten to Year 6).
Align content with the NSW NESA Syllabus in English, Mathematics, and Science.
Ensure the program systematically addresses all syllabus outcomes and skills.
Include strategies that prepare students for NAPLAN (literacy & numeracy focus).
Structure lessons and activities so that they are efficient, practical, and parent-friendly.
Develop a consistent format across grades, but with age-appropriate design, tone, and scaffolding.
Include both study techniques (active recall, spaced repetition, visual aids) and curriculum content.
Create a clear progression pathway across grades (so parents can see how skills build year by year).
Provide editable and printable versions (Word/PDF).
Deliverables:
7 full study guides/programs (K, Y1, Y2, Y3, Y4, Y5, Y6).
Each guide should include:
Weekly/termly structure
Key syllabus links and outcomes
Example exercises/activities
Study strategies tailored to age group
Parent instructions/support notes
Ideal Candidate:
Strong knowledge of the NSW curriculum (K–6).
Experience in educational writing, curriculum design, or tutoring.
Ability to write in a clear, engaging, and structured style for parents and children.
Graphic design/layout experience is a bonus (to make guides visually appealing).
Goal:
To produce a polished, easy-to-follow program that empowers parents to support their child’s learning at home, maximises efficiency, and builds strong foundations for high school and NAPLAN.
