We are seeking a talented and creative T-Shirt Design Artist with expertise in Adobe Illustrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fashion, a keen eye for design trends, and the ability to produce high-quality, original designs for our clothing line. You will be responsible for creating visually appealing, marketable, and brand-aligned t-shirt graphics that resonate with our target audience.
Key Responsibilities:
Design unique and trend-setting t-shirt graphics using Adobe Illustrator.
Create print-ready artwork that adheres to industry standards for screen printing and other garment printing methods.
Collaborate closely with the creative team to ensure all designs are aligned with brand aesthetics and vision.
Research current fashion trends and integrate them into fresh and innovative designs.
Adapt and revise existing designs based on feedback from the team or client requirements.
Maintain a consistent style while also producing diverse designs to cater to different customer segments.
Work with deadlines to ensure timely delivery of designs for production.
Organize design files and maintain a library of assets for future use.
Required Qualifications:
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and other relevant design tools.
Experience in graphic design, especially related to apparel or fashion.
A strong portfolio showcasing previous t-shirt designs or related artwork.
Excellent sense of typography, color, and composition.
Strong attention to detail and an understanding of t-shirt printing processes.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
Time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience working in the fashion or apparel industry.
Knowledge of fashion trends, fabrics, and garment construction.
Familiarity with screen printing, DTG (Direct-to-Garment) printing, and other t-shirt production techniques.
Strong illustration skills and the ability to create vector-based designs from scratch.
