Create 1990s style pixel assets (animated)
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I am looking for a pixel artist to create modular directional sprites for a potential game. Understanding the paper doll design pattern is helpful: sprites will be layered over one another and combined in code to dynamically display player/enemy equipment. Some discussion will need to be had but a single humanoid sprite will likely be broken down into 6 (head, torso, and limbs) sprites to be individually animated and combined during play.
Visual influences include games with noisy 3d billboarded graphics (Daggerfall, DOOM, Wolfenstein). The target resolution for entity sprites is 128x128; I'd like for the assets to be somewhat cleaner looking than those they were inspired by, but still retaining some of the noisy/gritty feel of early 3d games.
