Create brand identity document
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
Company established in 1980 needs a corporate brand identity guide created. Branding needs to be evolutionary from where it is today, NOT revolutionary. Specific attention needs to be placed on acknowledging the heritage, but also, updating the look & feel into the 21st century.
The end product should be a document that captures the core identity of the company and will serve as internal company guidance for creating additional marketing assets, such as signage, Trade Show booths, Documents, Ad templates, etc...
- The document should be created in Adobe InDesign (with a PDF Export)
- The company is a manufacturer of chemicals for Water Treatment (Drinking water, Industrial, Waste Water). Please visit www.usalco.com to get a feel for who we are
- Brand personality can be defined as Professional, Crisp, Innovative, Trustworthy
Some of the content exists and will be provided to you to compile into the overall document, and some elements need to be created. (I will provide all the content specified below upon award of the project)
Below is a listing of the sections needed, and an overview of what needs to be done in each section:
1. Vision, Mission, Values - Content will be provided
2. Our customers - Content will be provided
3. Logo - content will be provided
4. Colors - Two primary colors will be provided, we require a set of secondary, complementary colors to be created
5. Typography -
5a. Define corporate font - Company is currently using Calibri (!), a new font needs to be chosen. I'm open to suggestions, but the new font needs to be quite close to Calibri. 'Open Sans' might be a good choice
5b. Define Typography specifications (Size, Character spacing, line spacing) for Big Headings, Font Cover Titles, Inside page titles, Inside page subtitles, Quotes, Body/Copy, Small copy, Listing/Bullet point structure down to 3 levels
6. Business Card Template - Current design will be provided, along with an example of the direction we'd like to go in (just a suggestion, you use your best judgment please)
7. Email Signature - Suggested design will be provided (again, just a suggestion, you use your best judgment please)
