Concept design for computer mouse startup
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
We are looking for industrial product designer to develop a concept for computer mouse oriented towards luxurious home decor. Mouse would be wireless. 5 buttons standard. Left mouse, right mouse, scroll wheel button and side buttons in the left. Mouse could be either ambidextrous or ergonomic design for right handed.
We would like to have stylized design according to the picture provided in attachment. The mouse coating should have the shapes like in the attachment (diamonds with golden intersection and 3d feel to them, you could also improvise with concept art for the best end result possible). The scrolling wheel looking from the top should also mimic this coating design with two golden lines from the sides. I’m uploading some reference images what design (coating) or something similar to it could be on the mouse, we are open to new ideas as well.
We have not decided on the strict shape of the mouse, we would leave it for you (the designer) to make a concept and how would you imagine the shape fitting the coating. The "diamonds" should be visible and slightly protruding on the mouse, just like on the cup on the example provided, so the consumer should be able to feel those protrusions when touching the mouse, but they should not be sharp or too noticeable to the touch that it would become annoying to consumer for the daily use.
