Comprehensive Graphic Design for Disability Resources
Budget: $20,000 – $50,000 AUD
Time line = now until May 30, 2026
Graphic Design/Layout Tasks:
1 –Unifying design story overall all resources written into a style guide (for internal guidance)
2 – Designed “easy language” template for translation of existing THH ephemera into cognitive accessibility (CA) format
3 – Two mirroring resources suites detailing practice guidance on supporting LGBTQ people with intellectual disability.
• A Disability Sector Guide to LGBTQ PWID Intersectionally Affirmative Practice
- One volume, approximately 30 pages
• An LGBTIQ Sector Guide to LGBTQ PWID intersectionally affirmative practice
- Three volumes of approximately 20 pages each
- Volume 1 - Introduction to evidence LGBTQ PWID’s lived experience & need for the guide
- Volume 2 – Legal and Regulatory guide (to develop policy)
- Volume 3 – Best Practice guide (to develop procedures & practice guidance)
4 - A ‘Supported Decision Making’ Dual-Read Resource – for LGBTQ PWID and a supporter to use together in navigating every step of a positive queer affirmation journey. One page is plain language for supporter, other page is CA for PWID (appx 50-60 pages due to CA half)
5 – Guide to Including PWID in LGBTIQA+ Festivals & Events
• A capacity development guide for event organisers (appx 10-15 pages)
• A ‘tool kit’ of downloadable eResources
- Templates for CA event/program listings (appx 10 pgs)
- Template for CA description of ‘Disability Access Volunteer’ roles (appx 10 pgs 2-3 pages)
- Templates for CA signage to customise and hang at event (appx 4-5 single page signages)
- ‘Toolbox chat’ for training volunteers on inclusion strategies (appx 3 pages facilitator guide & 1-2 handouts for learners)
6 – Raw “slide deck” style templates adhering to overall design story for supplying the eLearning Design subcontracted company to incorporate into eLearning modules (perhaps 5-6 different layouts, essentially what you would do for an organisation’s master PowerPoint slide deck template).
