Cinematic Thumbnail Designer
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I run a long-form documentary and explainer channel that dives into the bizarre, shocking and mysterious corners of the real world—everything from deep-sea oddities and parasite horrors to dangerous places, survival tales and extinct beasts. Every episode lives or dies by its thumbnail, so I’m searching for a designer who can turn these subjects into irresistible, high-CTR visuals for the long haul.
Here’s what the thumbnails must evoke: cinematic scale, a sense of unknown danger, dramatic lighting, and instant curiosity. They need to feel realistic—no cartoon treatments—while staying clean and readable on mobile.
To pull this off you should be comfortable with:
• Advanced Photoshop and photo-manipulation techniques
• AI image generation / enhancement for elements that don’t exist in stock libraries
• Realistic compositing and color grading with a Hollywood vibe
You understand thumbnail psychology—bold compositions, strong focal points, emotional tension, ruthless contrast, and minimal yet punchy text—and can back that up with data or past performance where possible.
Please send:
• A portfolio link or drive folder of your best thumbnails (preferably in the science, mystery or documentary space)
• Any channels you’ve worked with and, if available, their CTR improvements after your redesigns
• Your average turnaround time per thumbnail
I publish regularly, so if the first few designs hit the mark, this will become an ongoing collaboration with steady work every month.
