Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Freelance Catalog Update Specialist to assist us in updating our existing catalog. As a Freelance Catalog Update Specialist, your main responsibility will be to refresh and enhance the catalog to make it more visually appealing and engaging for our customers. This is a remote position that offers flexible working hours.
Responsibilities:
Review the current catalog and identify areas that require updating, such as product descriptions, images, and layout.
Update and refine product information to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Source and select high-quality images that effectively showcase our products.
Enhance the catalog's layout and design to make it more visually appealing and user-friendly.
Collaborate with the team to incorporate any branding guidelines or specific requirements.
Ensure that the updated catalog is optimized for both print and digital platforms.
Conduct quality checks to verify the accuracy and completeness of the catalog.
Meet project deadlines and communicate progress regularly.
Requirements:
Proven experience in catalog design and layout.
Proficiency in graphic design software, such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, or similar tools.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistency throughout the catalog.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the team.
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Prior experience in e-commerce or retail catalogs is preferred.
A portfolio demonstrating previous catalog design work is highly desirable.
