Cartoonish Drawings for Product Packaging
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Hi Everyone -
I'm in search of a talented artist who can create artwork for my products packaging. My hope is to find an artist who will not only work on this product, but future products as well. Each product will have its own artwork highlighting the product and the brand. I imagine I will be scaling quickly once operations are up and running and anticipate to have 20+ products within the first 24 months. I would like to start with just 1 product to begin.
NO AI allowed. All artwork will need to be original.
GOAL: Find a suitable artist who can design 1 product, incorporate it into the packaging, add all the product related information and make the necessary tweaks for production.
STYLE: It's a cartoonish style, utilitarian aesthetic with a strong emphasis on dark, masculine colors like black, gray, and earthy tones, often accented with factors that encapsulate American pride. My inspiration is a combo of Black Rifle Coffee and Bones Coffee companies.
General Artwork Characteristics (Inspired by Black Rifle Coffee and Bones Coffee)
TYPOGRAPHY: Bold, blocky fonts with a slight cartoonish twist—think military stencils or graffiti-style lettering in white, red, or blue. The text should feel rugged but approachable, with a touch of humor or swagger, like Black Rifle’s “Fresh Roasted Freedom” vibe.
IMAGERY: Cartoonish, stylized skulls and kettles with exaggerated features—steaming skulls with wide grins, kettles with flames or steam in comic-book-style bursts. Incorporate subtle nods to American pride, like stars, stripes, or eagle motifs, but keep them understated and masculine, not overly patriotic or cheesy.
COLORS: Dominated by dark, masculine tones—black, charcoal gray, and earthy browns (like coffee grounds or dirt)—with pops of red, white, and blue for American pride. Avoid overly bright or soft colors, but the cartoonish style softens the intensity, making it less dark and more approachable.
I have added Black Rifle Coffee and Bones Coffee products for reference but I encourage anyone interested to go to their websites and review their products.
Thanks in advance/ Please let me know if you are interested.
Ryan
