Canva Graphic Designer for Social Media & Web Content (salaried)
Budget: $2 – $8 CAD
We’re looking for a part-time Canva Graphic Designer to create high-quality social media graphics, web content, and marketing materials. This role is perfect for a skilled designer with extensive experience in Canva and a strong understanding of visual storytelling.
>Bonus Skills:
✔️ WordPress & Elementor – Experience with website layouts and page design.
✔️ AI Image Generation – Ability to write prompts and create high-quality AI images using Midjourney or similar tools.
>Responsibilities:
1. Graphic Design – Design engaging and professional visuals using Canva for social media, websites, and marketing materials.
2. Visual Storytelling – Craft compelling, brand-aligned graphics that effectively communicate messages.
3. Strict Brand Compliance – Ensure all designs follow brand guidelines, maintaining consistency across platforms.
4. Content Formatting – Design aesthetically appealing layouts for blog posts, landing pages, and other web content.
5. Social Media Scheduling – Upload and schedule posts using Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Later, or similar tools.
6. AI Image Generation (Bonus) – Create AI-generated visuals using tools like Midjourney based on provided prompts.
7. Website Layout Assistance (Bonus) – Help with Elementor-based WordPress design tasks as needed.
>Requirements:
✅ Extensive experience in graphic design, particularly with Canva
✅ A strong understanding of visual storytelling for social media and web content
✅ Ability to strictly follow brand guidelines and maintain design consistency
✅ A portfolio demonstrating past design work
✅ Basic understanding of social media marketing
✅ Fluent English and ability to follow creative direction
✅ Organized, proactive, and able to meet deadlines
Nice to Have (But Not Required):
➕ Experience with WordPress & Elementor
➕ Familiarity with AI image generation (Midjourney, DALL·E, etc.)
➕ Basic Photoshop skills
Time Commitment & Pay:
+ 20 hours per week (Monday to Friday, flexible but within Vancouver time zone)
+ $2–$3 per hour
