Background color for v-footer in vuetify

I'm trying to add a background linear gradient for my vuetify v-footer but I'm having a hard time making it work for smaller screen sizes. I achieved it by adding a white linear gradient that takes up 25% of the space which creates a diagonal theme but for smaller screen sizes, mainly below 960px I have my logos go above that gray background color like this , and its even worse below 680px since the footer links will wrap vertically and make the logos go even up.
