Artistic Photo Book Layout

I have a full day’s worth of images shot across India and a working title—“INDIA: Life in a Day.” The photographs are already selected and lightly edited; what I need now is an imaginative eye to weave them into an artistic, story-driven book. Think fluid spreads, surprising juxtapositions, and text placement that feels almost hand-curated rather than rigidly gridded.

The overall vibe I’m after is unmistakably artistic and creative: pages that invite the reader to linger, unexpected negative space where it makes sense, and the freedom to play with scale or subtle graphic flourishes that echo the bustling energy of India without overwhelming the imagery. If you’re comfortable experimenting with gentle textures, transparent overlays, or illustration-like accents, you’re on the right path.

I will supply:
• High-resolution TIFF/JPEG images, already numbered in my suggested sequence
• My rough notes on pacing and any short captions

You’ll handle:
• Designing the full layout in Adobe InDesign (or equivalent professional tool)
• Light retouching or color balancing where page flow requires it
• Preparing a print-ready PDF (CMYK, bleed, crop marks) plus the packaged source files

Acceptance criteria:
1. Layout reflects an artistic, creative style with cohesive visual rhythm.
2. All images reproduce sharply at 300 dpi in the supplied print PDF.
3. Final files pass my print house’s pre-flight check without warnings.
