Annual Activity Report-2020-21
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹2,000 INR
The purpose of making this Annual Activity Report of FY-2020-21 is to provide insight of the activities performed by the Assessment and Certification Vertical of National Academy of RUDSETI in Jharkhand on the completion of its 1st year of operation.
Skill assessment in India is a rapidly evolving sector. Assessment verifies that individuals have acquired skills required to perform a particular job and that the learning Programme had intended to impart. It enables individuals to be benchmarked against the standards set nationally and internationally. It also has more intrinsic value in creating opportunities to motivate candidates and to give constructive feedback. Assessment is closely linked to certification, individuals have the opportunity to gain a recognized certificate if they pass an assessment; certificates can provide a platform from which to progress to other areas of learning, to get a job, self-employment or to progress within their existing careers. As this is the first report of the vertical in the state, we have tried to make the report explaining all activities, functions, departments and in-depth analysis of data collected.
The biggest USP of the of Awarding Body/Assessment Agency is the turnaround time of assessment delivery and certification with integrity, quality and maintaining evidence. We stood successful in this parameter and all batches were assessed very much in time and certificates were provided to RSETIs strictly in accordance to the prescribed timelines.
This report consists of 5 parts
The first part would cover points like -structure of Assessment and Certification Board and Vertical. Key stake holders in Assessment and Certification Vertical, Core team of Assessment & Certification Vertical and their roles and duties they perform.
The second part would explain about assessment, principles of assessment, types of assessment, need of third-party assessment in current framework of skilling and process of assessment and certification.
The third part of the report will present the data of assessment and its analysis in accordance to the demography of the state. As it’s our first report we won’t be making any remark and left the prerogative of interpretations to the stakeholders.
The fourth part would portray the activities performed by the Assistant Controller deputed for Jharkhand State apart from assessments in the FY-2020-21 like Domain Skill Trainer Certification Programme, Training of Assessor, Question Bank Development, Translation in local language and Development of learning materials for RSETIs.
The fifth and the last part will include the feedback from stakeholders regarding the activities of the vertical, media publicity and recognition of the Assistant Controller in the vertical.
