I just some further information on the league we are starting up. starting December 7th and running through till the January 25th, with a holiday break on December 21st, December 28th, and January 4th. The finals will take place from February 1st to February 8th.
Here are some of the key details:
Season Structure:
5 regular-season rounds
2 final rounds
Prizes:
Weekly MVP awards
End-of-season cash prizes for MVPs, Runner-Up MVPs, and All-Star 5s
$2,000 cash prize for the tournament winner and a prize for the runner-up
A reward for the coach of the winning team
Teams and Registration:
5 teams of 10 players (50 spots available)
Open to players aged 18 and over
Registration fee is free
Players will be graded upon registration and entered into a draft pool if selected you are required to pay the fee of $190
Games will consist of 10-minute quarters, following FIBA rules, along with the Coastal Basketball Code of Conduct (which we need to develop).
Sponsorship Opportunity:
Players registering have the option to find sponsors to cover their tournament fees.
