Music Label Grant for Local Support
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I am seeking a professional grant writer who can aid in acquiring funding for our music label Burning Hammer Records, particularly to support a group of 6-10 Australian hardcore punk bands. This funding will enable us to produce releases, organize tours, and significantly enhance local music culture through our tight nit positive community that promotes inclusivity, diversity, equality and expression. The specific areas requiring support include:
- Recording studio costs (Studio hire, gear hire)
- Promotion and marketing expenses (social media, print production)
- Tour and show expenses (hiring of venues, backline, sound gear, lighting gear)
- Release production costs (pressing to vinyl, CD production, distribution costs to shops/labels)
Ideally, the freelancer has experience in preparing successful grant applications for the Australian music industry or arts-related projects, and more specifically the heavy music industry. Knowledge of the specifics of music label operations and a general passion for the arts would be valuable in this role. Your ardent writing skills and understanding of the grant application process will be instrumental in securing this essential funding.
