Molecular Diagnostics Grant Writer

Job ID: 39897869

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I’m preparing a research-focused grant application in molecular diagnostics and need an experienced grant writer—preferably based in India or the USA—to guide the entire process from concept to a submission-ready proposal.

Scope of work
• Shape a compelling research strategy: translate my core idea into clear aims, a testable hypothesis, and a realistic experimental roadmap.
• Build supporting material from scratch: outline the studies needed to generate convincing preliminary data and advise on how best to present that data once produced.
• Draft the full proposal package for NIH (National Institutes of Health), NSF (National Science Foundation) and WHO (World Health Organization) calls, with the flexibility to adapt the narrative for Indian funding agencies as required.
• Prepare all standard sections—including specific aims, research plan, timeline, budget justification, biosketches and facilities/resources—ensuring each meets the separate formatting and compliance rules of the target organization.
• Provide iterative revisions until the application is ready for final submission.

What I’m looking for
You should have a track record of winning research grants in life sciences or diagnostics, understand review criteria for NIH R-series or equivalent, and feel comfortable collaborating remotely to refine both scientific content and storytelling. Experience with international or Indian funding bodies is a plus.

Deliverable
A polished, submission-ready grant application tailored first to NIH and readily adaptable to NSF, WHO and selected Indian programs, complete with all supporting documents and guidance on next steps.
