OVERVIEW:
S a n o v a W o r k s is seeking a contract Grant Writer to build upon our already robust schedule of grants for medical education in dermatology. The ideal candidate will be able to research, identify gaps, stay up to date with industry trends and research, prepare, write and submit grants on the various platforms. The majority of the grants will be for our two prestigious medical conferences: Orlando Dermatology, Aesthetic & Clinical Conference (ODAC).

This role requires someone who is a strategic writer and who has experience of grant writing. It is anticipated that this role will take approximately 80-100 hours depending upon the final number of grants written.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION WILL INCLUDE:
• Review/update and embellish existing core IME grant proposals for ODAC and SOCU
• Maintain and build knowledge of key clinical issues in dermatology (clinical practice guidelines, approved drug therapies and pipelines) using relevant sources of credible literature
• Develop referenced needs assessments that provide evidence-based knowledge and practice gaps following recognized standards
• Ensure grant proposals support the identified educational learning objectives for the activity/initiative
• Prepare customized IME grant proposals based individual requirements of funders; outline key information to be used in during the submission process required on various industry IME grant portals
• Knowledge of IME grant budget parameters, grant reconciliation and outcomes reporting needs

REQUIREMENTS:
• 2+ years grant writing experience
• Excellent written and verbal skills for professional / medical grant audience
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Positive, friendly attitude, and team spirit

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience in publishing
• Experience in medical education
